AaryaDoc
Document Discrepancy Detector

AaryaDoc, a helper that compares documents

AaryaDoc looks at two or more documents and shows where they differ, in plain words. It works offline on this device. A person always decides.

Three possible results

It gives one of three possible results.

✓ Possible match

The details agree, or differ only in a harmless way.

⚠ Possible mismatch

A real difference was found. It is only a possibility until a person checks.

? Needs human review

The documents do not give enough to say. Something missing or unclear is never called a mismatch.

What it does

  • Compares the details on documents, such as names, dates and numbers.
  • Gives a reason for every item it raises.
  • Shows each reason in English, with a draft explanation in Hindi and Gujarati.

What it does not do

  • It does not certify, approve, reject or correct anything.
  • It does not say whether a document is genuine. It does not establish authenticity.
  • Where a detail is absent or unclear, it asks for human review and does not call it a mismatch.
Where it fits
In the suggested path it appears at four points: at the start, to show the person what differs; before the case sheet is sent, to check the request; at the officer’s desk, with a reason for each item; and at a final look after the correction. The path stands without it, and the authorities can switch it off.

For the authorities: how to check AaryaDoc

Five checks, all the authorities’ own.

  1. Try it on your own test documents. The engine runs offline on an ordinary computer, so no data needs to leave it.
  2. Read any rule and the code. Nothing is hidden.
  3. Supply your own rules and order of documents. The rules in the demo are examples only and are not sourced from any department.
  4. Every result has a reason, and every human decision is logged.
  5. It can be switched off without affecting the process.

Questions left to the authorities: which documents and rules apply; who may use it; how long any record is kept; whether recording of statements is permitted.

Try it

Try an invented case

Pick an invented case and see the report. Every document and name on this page is made up.

What this demonstration is for

It shows three behaviours of the tool, using invented documents. It does not show how accurate the tool is, and no real person’s data is used.

  1. Harmless differences are not made into problems. Extra spaces, a different style of writing the same date, or the same name words in another order are reported as a possible match.
  2. When a detail is missing or unclear, it does not guess. It asks a person to look, and it does not call this a mismatch.
  3. A real difference is shown with its reason. The officer sees exactly what differs and decides what to do.

Not shown here: how it performs on real documents, the authorities’ own rules, or whether any document is genuine.

Run details for reviewers

Step 1 · Choose a case

Documents in this case

Some values in these invented records, such as gender and document numbers, are placeholders and carry no meaning.

DEMONSTRATION MODE · A replay of a recorded engine run on invented documents. It does not perform a new analysis in your browser.

Guide to the words

These words stay in English everywhere in the tool. Here is what each one means and where it appears.

What these cases show

The cases are invented, and the results are the engine’s recorded output. This table shows the kinds of case and what the engine said. It is not an accuracy figure, and the expected outcome of each case is not part of this export.

Review log (this page only, not saved)

Invented set, replayed from recorded output. No real person’s data is used.

    Possible later work, not built

These are ideas for later. None is built, none is promised, and no dates are given. Each would need the agreement of the authorities. Today, AaryaDoc compares the details of documents that have already been entered. It runs offline on one computer, shows each result with a reason, and a person decides.

    • A reading tool for phones. A small mobile tool that reads a scanned document and fills in the details, so the check can start from a photograph. English and Gujarati first, more Indian languages later. Its quality would have to be tested and shown before anyone relies on it.
    • An optional link to the authority’s own systems. A switch, off by default and under the authority’s control, so AaryaDoc can read from and report to the systems the authority already runs. Nothing would connect unless the authority turns it on, and it can be turned off again.
    • The authority’s own rules and document order. A pack of rules and an order of documents for each kind of document, supplied by the authority, so the checks follow the authority’s own written rules in place of the examples on this site.
    • More languages. Reports and slips in more Indian languages, reviewed by native readers.

What stays the same in all of them: AaryaDoc detects and a person decides. It does not certify, approve or correct anything. It does not establish authenticity.
